The City of Cortez, CO seeks a clear and comprehensive Housing Needs Assessment that is well documented. Triple Point joined a team of consultants from Urban Rural Continuum and led by Williford, LLC to conduct the assessment.
The assessment will demonstrate current and future housing needs through 2027. This assessment will report on the city’s overall population yet focus on Cortez’s workforce, which spans the income and demographic spectrum. It will include the maximum affordable rent and for sale prices across the income spectrum by tenure and identify where there are gaps in the market. We will consider the types of housing that is undersupplied and provide 5-10 tactical recommendations to inform the development of a subsequent strategic housing plan.
