This study assessed the land use allocation proposal for the North Village, located in Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. A market analysis quantified the current development proposal over time in context of existing and future development in Mt. Crested Butte. Past rates of Mt. Crested Butte’s economic growth were used to forecast future demand growth. Alternative phasing plans were simulated.
Property parcels, residential units, transient lodging units, commercial units, and square footage are units of measurement for constructing a simple build-out model using the “East River Planning Model” approach previously adopted by the Town.
