This project is transcending the traditional boundaries of housing needs assessments by integrating comprehensive data modeling and scenario simulations. These tools will not only evaluate Frisco’s current housing landscape but also envision potential future developments. Through rigorous “what if” scenario planning, the initiative will explore the multifaceted implications of housing development, from economic activity and job creation to environmental impacts.
The core objective is to craft actionable strategies and policies that support sustainable housing growth, in alignment with Frisco’s overarching goal: achieving a 50% year-round residential occupancy rate. This goal underscores the town’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community that maintains a healthy economy and high quality of life for its inhabitants.
The consulting team is led by Dynamic Planning + Science and includes Western Spaces, Castlewood Capital, and Triple Point.
